COCOCHOCO USA — Professional Keratin Treatments & ONYX

COCOCHOCO is a keratin hair treatment brand trusted by professionals in 50+ countries since 2006. The US site needed a full redesign — built around their flagship product, ONYX, and structured for two very different audiences: salon professionals buying for their business, and home users buying for themselves.

The earlier site treated both audiences as one. A single shop, a single voice, no clear path from "I'm a stylist with a client tomorrow" to checkout. The redesign separated the two flows without splitting the brand — same identity, same product line, two distinct journeys.

Before any design started, we spent hours studying the category. Salon reviews. How stylists actually talk about keratin online. What competing brands were missing. Three things came back consistently: clear before/after proof, a shopping flow that doesn't fight the user, and a homepage that makes the science visible without sounding like a chemistry textbook. Those three became the brief.

This was also our first full build in Bricks Builder after years working primarily in Webflow. Different stack, same standard. The migration covered all 53 SKUs, full policy pages (Refund, Shipping, Returns), a complete blog content layer, and a new Education & Certification page concept for the professional side of the business.
