Brief

The Jet Network (TJN) is not a charter operator or a flight school. It is the firm aviation professionals call when they are buying or selling an aviation business — a Part 135 Charter Certificate, an FBO, a Part 141 Flight School, a Part 145 MRO, or an entire aviation enterprise.

Founded in 2006 by Dean A. Kantis, TJN has completed over 250 aircraft transactions and more than 100 aviation business M&A deals, representing over $400 million in total deal value. They have competed against and beaten major OEMs in government aircraft bids, winning over $20 million across three separate contracts.

The design challenge was matching the website to the actual weight of that track record.

Designing for a specialized B2B audience

TJN serves two distinct audiences. The first is an operator — typically a Part 135 certificate holder, an FBO owner, or a flight school operator — who wants to sell their business and needs a firm with the regulatory knowledge and buyer network to close the deal correctly. The second is a buyer: an investor, a private equity group, or an existing operator looking to expand through acquisition.

Both audiences are sophisticated. Neither responds to generic aviation aesthetics or vague service descriptions. The site needed to communicate specific credentials — deal count, transaction volume, regulatory depth — clearly and without noise.

Authority through specificity

The numbers on the TJN site are not marketing copy. They are verifiable: 250+ closed aircraft sales, $400M+ in total deal value, 100+ aviation business transactions, $100M+ in business M&A. The design gives those figures space to land without burying them in visual clutter.

Dean Kantis is the face of the firm — a recognized authority in aviation M&A with decades of industry relationships. The site reflects that. TJN is not a nameless platform. It is built around a person with a specific track record in a specific industry.

Covering the full scope of aviation M&A

TJN's listings span every category of FAA-certificated aviation operation: Part 135 charter operators, Part 61 and 141 flight schools, Part 145 maintenance and repair organizations, and FBOs. The aircraft acquisition side covers pistons, turboprops, light jets, mid-size jets, heavy jets, and commercial airliners.

Organizing that breadth in a way that doesn't overwhelm a first-time visitor — while still giving experienced operators the detail they need — was the core structural challenge of the project.
