When Beth Keyse came to the studio, she had a decision to make: stay where she was, or position the business for the kind of clients she actually wanted to work with. The earlier site did a job. It didn't close.

Beth runs an independent luxury travel advisory. Her clients book through referral, travel with brands like Belmond and Aman, and expect the same level of taste from the people who plan their trips. A site that merely listed services wasn't going to get her there.

The brief

The words Beth used on the first call were the words that ended up guiding the whole project: make me look like a serious player in the travel world. Not fancier. Not flashier. Serious. That distinction mattered.

Serious meant restraint. It meant fewer words, better photography, a layout that didn't try to sell but presented. It meant inquiry flow that qualified leads before the first reply so that Beth's time went to the right conversations.

What we did

  • Rewrote positioning to sit alongside the brands her clients already trust
  • Designed the site in Figma, built in Webflow
  • Restructured the inquiry flow to pre-qualify leads
  • Built a CMS for itineraries and destination notes she can maintain herself

The outcome, in her words

beterdesign created a site that is truly exceptional: visually stunning, effortlessly functional, and perfectly aligned with the high-end brand I strive to represent. He transformed it into a website that makes me look like a serious player in the travel world — exactly what I need to stand out in this industry.

That last sentence was the brief returning as the result. That's when we knew the project had done what it needed to do.

The site launched in 2025. You can see it at bethkeyse.com.
